This is our final update for 2006...
Where did the year go?

II Peter 3:8-9

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

In prospective this first day of a new year reminds us that another day brings us another year. In the mind of Jesus it's only been several days since He promised to return to set up His kingdom - on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

There is only one reason that Jesus has not returned to gather us to Himself with a shout of the archangel and the trump of God sounding - where we'll be caught up to be with Him forever. There is only one reason He hasn't called for us to join Him in the heavenlies - our Lord and Saviour is not willing that any should perish - but wants all of us to come to Him as our Saviour and Lord.

The shout is coming, I can hear it in the distance...Can you? Don't forget that it could be today, yes, even before you get a chance to finish reading this article.

Because, in truth, because they have misled my people, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace; and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear whitewash on it. Say to those who smear whitewash on it that it shall fall.
(Ezekiel 13:1-16 / NRSV) God is most certainly the GOD of truth!

Dec. 29, 2006: Plans for the EU's 50th birthday party in 2007 focused on the organization's disunity - In this report the word fragmented is used. This is exactly what the book of Daniel said the EU would be like in the End Times. When God explained the image in Daniel 2:40-45 he saw the feet and toes were mixed with iron and clay and the LORD said that the last kingdom before His return would never quit get there act fully together. However, they will have strength and weakness mixed together. I believe the weakness of the EU is that they will never fully trust one another nor will they be able to agree on major issues that effect them socially, politically, economically and religiously as we have been able to accomplish in the U.S. Our headlines today show an EU (Revived Roman Empire) that is not full cemented together just as God said!

Dec. 29, 2006: China defends military rise, says faces threats - China is getting ready to go to war with Taiwan. They also want to be ready when the Middle East falls apart. China wants and needs oil!

Dec. 28, 2006: 'NATO interested in Iran's nukes' - Why is it the world body waited so long to get concerned? Maybe because God said in Ezekiel 38-39 that Iran (Persia) would be a power to deal with in the Last Days...

Dec. 28, 2006: Between Wars, U.S. Toughening Up on Israel - In an effort to appease the Saudi's we are cutting of shipments and money flow to Israel for needed weapons. We're doing this because we need the Saudi's help, guess where? In Iraq... If we continue distancing ourselves from Israel and chumming up to the Arabs, we'll pay a heavy price for it.

Dec. 27, 2006: China's Hu calls for powerful, combat-ready navy - China is quickly becoming the next big superpower to deal with in the world. She is living up to Revelation 16:12 .

Dec. 27, 2006: Scientists Create Molecule-Size Keypad Lock - In Israel, Jewish scientists have found the ATM combinations to unlocking tiny molecules that assist the body. Interestingly, when they are exposed to light they turn on and glow green. God is really out of this world! But, let's destroy a country that has this kind of brilliant talent... The world is the beneficiary of God's grace through His people and His land. Who knows where this technology will lead to providing longevity and health to the world.

Dec. 19, 2006: Assad Is in Moscow with Half-Billion Iranian Dollars to Upgrade His Army - To any Bible Prophecy student this should not be a surprise. In fact, you should be silently enjoying the news that proves the Bible is the most accurate book ever written. What other book can you read that tells you who will be friends and when, with 100% accuracy? Read Ezekiel 37-39, Daniel, Joel, Zechariah, Micah chapter 4 and you'll have a clear picture of why this headline says a lot!
