Europe's Interests Not Those Of Israel

National Security Advisor Brigadier-General Giora Eiland says that Europeans are asking themselves whether a "Jewish State" is really necessary.

Addressing the Fifth Herzliya Conference yesterday, Brigadier-General Eiland explained that the EU has its own self-interest in ensuring a resolution to the Israeli-Arab conflict, and would not mind if the price for this resolution is paid by Israel in the form of ceding some of its vital interests.

Perhaps most significantly, General Eiland said the EU is questioning more and more whether there really is a need for a "Jewish State". The EU is asking, according to Eiland, "Is the idea of a Jewish State something that we must so totally support? Is it really so self-evident that there must be 'two states for two peoples'? In the 21st century, is a religious state - for this is how they see the Jewish State - something that is self-evident? Or are there other ways in which the Jews and Arabs can live together?"

EU Trio In Talks With Iran

Foreign ministers from the UK, France and Germany have begun talks with Iran to reach a long-term deal on nuclear, economic and strategic co-operation. The first day ended with an agreement to create three groups to move the process forward.

Monday's meeting in Brussels between Iranian negotiator Hassan Rohani, the foreign ministers of the European trio, and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana, followed Iran's agreement to suspend uranium enrichment.

Rohani told reporters that negotiations indicate a new chapter in Teheran's relations, not only with the UK, France and Germany, but with the EU as a whole.

Teheran insists its uranium enrichment suspension is only temporary. Officials warn that they will not give up research and development, which many fear would lead to Iran acquiring weapons of mass destruction.

For a lot of people, the Bible and mathematics are dry subjects, but not for Edwin Sherman – he believes he's found how the two fit together.

Members of Reestablished Sanhedrin Ascend Temple Mount

In a dramatic but unpublicized move, members of the newly established Sanhedrin ascended the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site, this past Monday.

Close to 50 recently ordained s'muchim, members of the Sanhedrin, lined up at the foot of the Temple Mount Monday morning. [The word s'muchim comes from the same root as s'michah, , rabbinic ordination.] The men, many ascending the Temple Mount for the first time, had immersed in mikvaot (ritual baths) that morning, and planned to ascend as a group. Despite prior approval from the Israeli police who oversee entry to the Mount, the officers barred the group from entering the Mount all together, and allowed them to visit only in groups of ten.

Israel recognizes homosexual couples
'Jewish state risks becoming next Sodom and Gomorrah'

Same-sex couples in Israel will now have many of the same rights as heterosexual spouses according to a decision today by the Jewish State's attorney general which drew fire from many rabbis who warned Israel risked becoming another Sodom and Gomorrah.

In a precedent-setting directive, Israel's Attorney General Menachem Mazuz decided not to appeal a district court decision in Nazareth recognizing a same-sex couple in a recent inheritance ruling, indicating homosexual couples have the same rights in matters of property, taxation and inheritance as common law spouses.

Sharon agrees to meet Syrian president Assad in certain circumstances. Talking to newspaper editors in Tel Aviv, he noted that talks demand much secret preparation like the work that led up to Anwar Sadat’s visit to Jerusalem. If Syria is serious, it will find Israel is serious too.

EU Constitution Will be Approved!

The year isn't even over yet and the end of 2004 is proving to much more exciting than the beginning. Arafat is dead, thank God and israel is considering making peace with it's long time enemy Syria. That's not all though, the EU Constitution is receiving overwhelming support!

This should not suprise any student of Prophecy, because the Antichrist needs a government to run. The EU will be his government. Eventually it will swallow up the globe.

It looks like the year 2005 will be a very interesting year indeed. Here is what I think the outline of topics for 2005 will look like:

1. Peace process with PA will develop and grow

2. Peace with Syria will move forward

3. The EU will grow, expand and solidify it's governing body and powers

4. Changes in social fabric and the abolishing of GOD will continue

5. Weather and environmental changes will increase

Hold on to your spiritual hats, it's going to be an interesting year...

The Age of Immorality

It is no longer politically correct to call AIDS a "gay" disease. In fact, to do so is to risk the wrath of human-rights groups crying "hate speech" – as if it were a slur, rather than an historical fact.

Now that AIDS has spread across the whole culture, including heterosexuals of both sexes, the politically correct response is to ignore its principle method of transmission.

In 1980, Air Canada flight attendant Gaetan Dugas was diagnosed with the first North American case of AIDS. Dugas was a notoriously promiscuous homosexual who reputedly had sex with as many as 250 partners a year in gay "bathhouses."

By the end of that year, there were 31 deaths in the United States, confined within the homosexual community. (Dugas himself survived until 1984, by which time AIDS had begun reaching epidemic proportions.)

Currently, it is estimated that almost 1 million Americans are now infected with the HIV virus that causes AIDS. And women account for almost half of all HIV victims.

The ACLU's holy war against the Boy Scouts, the LA County Official Seal (containing a tiny Cross), holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas -- and even the Constitution itself -- has unmasked the ACLU as a tyrant less interested in civil rights than imposing judicial restraints that amount to suppression of majority rights by a tiny minority.
 

The ACLU claims to be an unbiased, “neither conservative or liberal” organization devoted exclusively to protecting the civil liberties of all Americans. But their record proves just the opposite.

The United States is losing the war on terrorism and faces an "inevitable" al-Qaida attack with weapons of mass destruction that will be worse than 9-11, according to a counter-terror expert.

"All of the warnings we have today indicate that a major strike – something more horrible than anything we've seen before – is all but inevitable," said Yossef Bodansky, former director of the U.S. Congressional Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare, in an interview yesterday with the Jerusalem Post.

Thursday night, November 25, Stephen Hadley, designated national security adviser in the White House, telephoned Mahmoud Abbas – Abu Mazen – the ruling Fatah’s sole nominee to succeed Yasser Arafat, and asked him when was the best time for a visit to Ramallah – before or after the January 9 election. After, said Abu Mazen firmly. “Now I had better be left to campaign on my own.”

Last week, Abbas ducked out of a photo opportunity with US secretary of state Colin Powell for fear of damaging his chances with the Palestinian voter. This week, the incoming US national security adviser consults him on his travel schedule. Ramallah has clearly undergone a metamorphosis in the three weeks since Arafat’s departure. Washington is even sympathetic to the new Palestinian leader’s reluctance to be seen too close to American or Israeli officials; understanding that his most urgent priority now is to gain endorsement from the Arab world.
