Mr. Heading did a great job outlining the importance of Pentecost and our need for God. Please enjoy the admonishment from Rev. Hedding.

During this time in history Israel is facing the world virtually alone, except for one caveat, God is on her side and will defend and watch over her and His people. What the Bible foretold, that the day would come when Israel would look around and see that she has been abandoned and that her only friend and helper would be The God of Israel, this time has arrived rather suddenly. The Obama administration is severing it's ties with Israel, no surprise, we all saw this coming, and unfortunately this will have sever effects to the U.S. and the world. God promised in Joel chapter 3 that He would enter into judgment with all nations for dividing His land and mistreating His people. Read it for yourself below:

Joel 3: I will also gather all nations, And bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; And I will enter into judgment with them there On account of My people, My heritage Israel, Whom they have scattered among the nations; They have also divided up My land.

Whenever God pronounces this kind of ominous promise He intends to do exactly what He says. When this time arrives and I believe we are at 11:59 pm. from this happening, the Lord is not going to discuss these issues, He is going to go to war with those who participated in the crime He listed above. By the way, this reference above ties into the "Days of Great Tribulation" that Yeshua spoke about in Matthew 24, Luke 21 and elsewhere in scripture.

Yes my dear Brothers and Sisters, our new President has put this country and the world in great peril and he doesn't even realize it because of his careless arrogance!  To get a full picture of what is about to happen in this generation, please read Zechariah 12, it will give you God's satellite perspective of what's on the soon coming horizon. To demonstrate how isolated Israel is feeling just read this headline. Post script here, do not pay attention to the PR media photo ops you're seeing in the nes between Obama and Israel's new PM Bibi Netanyahu, they are not seeing eye to eye at all. Turning Point 3 is an entire national alert drill that the entire country participates in. This drill is the plan Israel has in place for a nuclear strike on it's land and people. Things are getting very serious and dangerous, please pray!

So, what does all of this mean to us in this generation? Short answer... We are on the verge of seeing history change forever right before our eyes. We are on the verge of the return of our blessed Messiah Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) and it won't be long before all of us who believe will see Him face to face, eye to eye and I don't know about you, but for me, I can't wait to see the One who died for me and thank Him for all He has done for me, my family, my friends and for you, my online family. Please stop and let this sink in for just a moment, seeing Him, Jesus Christ the one we have prayed to all these years, the one we have yearned to be with all these years is about to break through the heavens above and call us to Himself! Wow that blows my mind and excites me all at the same time. Are you ready? If not, get ready today! All who call on the name of the Lord will be saved!!!!

Romans Chapter 10:
"The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame."

Please read the information below from the Jerusalem Connection that I just read.

Jerusalem Connection:

Caroline Glick said: “As for Israel, it is a good thing that the IDF has scheduled the largest civil defense drill in the country's history for next week. Between North Korea's nuclear test, Iran's brazen bellicosity and America's betrayal, it is clear that the government can do nothing to impact Washington's policies toward Iran. No destruction of Jewish communities will convince Obama to act against Iran. Today Israel stands alone against the mullahs and their bomb. And this, like the US's decision to stand down against the Axis of Evil, is not subject to change.”

God says: “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”  (Ecclesiastes 4:9-11).

The Jerusalem Connection says: Today is Shavuot/Pentecost. Today Jews celebrate the giving of the Torah. Christians memorialize the coming of the Holy Spirit to indwell believers. The tradition of reading the book of Ruth brings the two believing communities together. In what way, you ask? It is obvious, as Caroline Glick has rightly noted, Israel stands alone since the coming of the Obama administration. America’s betrayal of Israel is a reality. So, what does that have to do with Ruth? Now, more than ever Israel needs real friends, committed friends, like the non-Jew Ruth. Remember her commitment to Naomi her mother-in-law; “Where you go I will go, where you lodge I will lodge. Your people will be my people and your God will be my God. Where you die, I will die and there I will be buried.” (Ruth 1:16-17) The day has arrived when Israel needs to have Ruth’s commitment reaffirmed by Christians, especially Christian Zionists.

Understanding Pentecost

Leviticus 23:15-22 and Acts 2:1-4

Fifty days after leaving Egypt, the Israelites gathered at Mt. Sinai to hear God proclaim the Torah or Law to them. The sight was awesome and provoked considerable fear in the hearts of all those gathered there, so much so that they asked Moses to speak with God on their behalf (Exodus 19:10-25; 20:18-21).

The lessons for us are clear:

1. Humankind cannot live in the presence of God
Sin has separated us from God. Sin can only be understood in the light of God's character. The Torah or Law reflects this character and teaches us how far we have fallen from it (Romans 3:20; Galatians 3:24).

2. Humankind needs to have a healthy fear of God
The biblical record states that God came down to the mountain and it trembled and shook as lightning, thunder and fire engulfed it. When men and women live as if God never existed, this is more a commentary on their rebellion than their certainty about their position (Proverbs 14:9). The reason all men know that God exists is because this knowledge is embedded in their conscience (Psalm 14:1; Romans 1:20-23). We mock God, as many do today, to our own peril.

3. Humankind needs a mediator
The state that we live in attracts the wrath of God (John 3:36; Romans 1:18). We cannot bridge the gap between God and ourselves. Hence at Sinai, the Israelites were terrified and wanted to run. Jesus bridged this gap by becoming a propitiating sacrifice for us (Romans 3:23-25).

4. Humankind needs to be clothed with God's presence and power
On the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago in Jerusalem, the Spirit of God was poured out upon the early disciples, filling them with love, power and voice! (Acts 2:1-4). They were no longer fearful but enshrouded in love and fully reconciled to God. They could now rejoice in God's presence and come boldly before His throne, free from fear (Hebrews 4:14-16, Hebrews 12:18-24).

This is the full message of Pentecost. It is thus important to note that we cannot fully celebrate it without first going back to Sinai.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all (2 Corinthians 13:14).

Yours in Him,

Because, in truth, because they have misled my people, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace; and because, when the people build a wall, these prophets smear whitewash on it. Say to those who smear whitewash on it that it shall fall.  (Ezekiel 13:1-16 / NRSV)
