I reported in 2001 when President Bush took office that if he attempted to divide Israel over peace, his administration would suffer greatly. It seems that this is exactly what has happened.  Just to get the sense of what we were reporting in 2005, read this report we sent out in July of 2005. My report was a stinging indictment against what Bush was doing at the time and I sadly feel very much the same today as I did then. Since President Bush has come into office the U.S. and the world has seen some of it worst disasters, on all fronts, in known history.

Since Bush announced a two state solution for Israel and the removal of all Jews from Gaza and his current push for a 2008 peace agreement, there has been an extreme increase of unrest world wide. let's just do a simple run down and see some of the events that have taken place over the last - almost eight years:

The Middle East Times reports: quote Benjamin Netanyahu, a former-and quite possibly the future-Prime Minister of Israel, said the nuclear-armed Iran must not be allowed and should be stopped by the worlds civilized nations. "This is not merely a local problem, this is a global problem.  If Iran acquires nuclear weapons everything we have been talking about will pale in comparison, said Netanyahu." the former prime minister and head of the Likud opposition party warned that it Iran, armed with nuclear weapons, will put the oil reserves of the gulf under their sway. A nuclear Iran, said Netanyahu, could easily bring down governments or fold them into Iran's realm; it could also inspire and encourage various Islamic communities around the world.

Bro Stef Comments: If we do not see the writing on the walls and get extremely proactive with Iran, as I said three years ago, then the Middle East will become the next battle ground. It may be sooner than any of would like to consider.  See this article

Putin to become United Russia Chief, cementing hold on power...
The Christian Science Monitor reports: Vladimir Putin put the finishing touches to his post retirement formula for retaining power in Russia by scooping up the leadership of the countries dominant political party, a position he will hold in addition to being prime minister. "I accept the invitation of the party.  I am ready to take on myself the additional responsibility and head the party," Mr. Putin told delegates to the convention of the pro-Kremlin United Russia (UR) party, which controls 70% of the parliament's 450 seats.  The 600 delegates, including many of Russia's top politicians, responded with a lengthily standing ovation... Putin will move from the Kremlin to Russia's White House, the gleaming eggshell-like building by the Moscow River that serves as the seat of government, to take up the job of prime minister.  Under the country's Constitution, the prime minister is a presidential appointee, and the job has typically been filled by an un-ambitious technocrat.  Although Putin's long-term aspirations remain an enigma, experts say he is not likely to settle easily into the role of second fiddle to the new Kremlin chief.

Bro Stef Comments: Putin has signed into law to restrict any national referendums. Furthermore, Putin and Abbas are meeting at the Russian Middle East Conference.  So reports the Voice of America. Could Putin be the "Gog of Magog"? Could he be the Russian leader during World War III as described in Ezekiel 38:1, 2?  Time will most certainly tell. Here's something to think about, could Putin possibly be preparing for the hour in history when Russia the Rosh of Ezekiel 38 marches from the north against Israel - Ezekiel 38: 15,16; Ezekiel 39:1, 2.   Let's not forget that Moscow is directly north of Israel...

Chinese build secret nuclear submarine base...
The London Daily Telegraph reports: "China has secretly built a major underground nuclear submarine base that could threaten the Asian countries and challenge American power in the region, it can now be disclosed.  Satellite imagery, passed to the Daily Telegraph, shows that a substantial harbor has been built which could house a score of nuclear ballistic missile submarines and a host of aircraft carriers.  In what will be a significant challenge to US Navy dominance and two countries ringing the South China Sea, one photograph shows China's latest 094 nuclear submarine at the base just a few hundred miles from its neighbors.  Other images show numerous warships moored at to long jetties and a network of underground tunnels at the Sanya base at the southern tip of the Hainan Island. Of even greater concern to the Pentagon are massive tunnel entrances, estimated to be 60 feet high, built into the hillsides around the base.  Sources fear they could lead to Caverns capable of hiding up to 20 nuclear submarines from spy satellites.  It would now be difficult to ignore that China was building a major naval base where it could house its nuclear forces and increased its "strategic capability" considerably further afield.

The Scotsman reports: "A leading scientist has warned a new species of "humanzee," created from breeding  apes with humans, could become a reality unless the government acts to stop scientists experimenting. In an interview with the Scotsman, Dr. Callum MacKeller, director of research at the Scottish Council of Human Bioethics, warned the controversial draft human fertilization and embryology bill did not permit human sperm being inseminated into animals. He said if a female chimpanzee was inseminated with human sperm the two species would be closely enough related that a hybrid could be born. He said scientists could possibly try to develop the new species to fill the demand for organ donors. Leading scientists say there is no reason why the two species could not breath, although they question why anyone would want to try such a technique. Other hybrid species already created include crossed tigers and lions and sheep and goats. Dr. Mac Keller said he feared the consequences of scientists made a concerted effort to cross humans with chimpanzees.  He said: "nobody knows what they would get if they tried hard enough.  The insemination of animals with human sperm should be prohibited." In other news, the first British human-animal hybrid embryos created by scientists. Britain's first human-animal hybrid embryos have been created, forming a crucial first step, scientists believe, towards a supply of stem cells that can be used to investigate the locating insofar untreatable conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's and motor neuron disease. Lyle Armstrong, who led the work, gain permission in January from the human fertilization and embryology Authority (HFEA) to create the embryos, known as cytoplasmic hybrids.

Bro Stef Comments: God is the author and creator of life. Even though the scientific community tells us that this science can help us, do they really know what negative effects this could have? When the debate on cloning first started some years ago, we heard that the crossing of animals and humans would never happen and they told us it was just to dangerous. Well, now the very thing we were told was dangerous is happening. I think some scientists have a unquenchable desire to test everything. It's kind of like putting an Alcoholic in a locked room with a bottle of the best Scotch Whiskey you can find and say to him or her, just look don't drink. Once this Pandora's box got opened, I don't see it being shut - unfortunately and only God knows where it will lead and why don't I have a good feeling about this?

Eurozone countries should speak with one voice Junker says.
The EU Observer reports: Countries using the euro should speak with one voice and should be represented by one seat in the international monetary fund in order to be more credible, the president of the eurogroup, Jean-Claude Juncker, said on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Referring to an idea raised by French President Nicholas Sarkozy that the eurozone - the 15 countries that have adopted the single currency, should be represented by one single voice internationally, Mr. Juncker said he too thought "this was the only way to go." "It's absurd for those 15 countries not to agree to have a single representation at the IMF.  It makes us look ridiculous.  We are regarded as buffoons on the international scene," the group's president said at a conference in Brussels.  EU economic and monetary affairs Commissioner Joaquin Almunia said eurozone countries should first adopt the same political agenda before thinking about common representation.  "Once the policy agenda is defined, it's easier to have a single voice and then it's easier to advance to a single representation," said Mr. Almunia Muni in a news conference on Tuesday... USA Today reports: States get real ID Extensions says USA Today that Homeland security Department announced that it has granted all 50 states extensions to the requirement that they produce new camper-proof driver is licenses.  The extensions allow people to continue to use their current licenses to board airplanes and enter federal buildings until the law requiring more secure licenses begins to take effect in the year 2014.  Tim O'Brien in the Detroit Free Press warned at the beginning of 2008 that America's plans were to ID all its citizens by micro-chipping driver's licenses and in some cases humans by May 12, 2008.  It was shocking as he used Revelation 13:16,17 as a warning of what this might entail.  Presently the plan has been moved to begin in May 2009 and as noted above it is to be fully in effect by 2014 in the US and globally by 2017.  Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in a shocking way.  The good news is that believers are rapture in Revelation 4:1 before the true "Mark of The Beast" occurs in Revelation 13:16-18.  However, millions will be saved after the rapture please see Revelation 7:9,14 and they will be the ones who must decide for or against the mark -Revelation 14:11; 20:4.

The Chicago Tribune reports: "In an effort to help combat identity theft and fraud, two Illinois congressman are expected to introduce legislation they hope will enhance the security features of Social Security cards. The proposed cards would feature a photograph and fingerprint, as well as a computer chip, bar code and magnetic strip.  The cards would be modeled after the Common Access Card issued by the Department of Defense, mostly to active military reserve members and their dependents," said US rep Mark Kirk (R-Ill), a sponsor of the bill. current Social Security cards and limited security features and have no photo or biometric data, he said.  Kirk stressed that the new card would not be a panacea to identity theft and fraud, but would help victims prove their identity.  The point is not to make a big step, but to make a modest upgrade, he said... (plans galore are being and will be promoted to encourage the public to accept the mark when it is introduced globally-Revelation 13:15-18.)

The Voice of America News reports: Britain to introduce face scans at airports. The plan was revealed in the Guardian daily newspaper.  The paper says the trials were approved at a conference in London including international biometrics industry executives, top civil servants and border control, and police technology experts.  It quotes a British Border Agency saying a machine can do a better job of scanning passports and exposing identity fraud than humans.  An official at the Border Agency, speaking to VOA on condition of anonymity, confirmed the Guardian story. At least 8 million Britons hold biometric passports.  Computer chips in them hold the carriers facial details... (Britain plans to ID all of its citizens by 2011 and world leaders are planning to ID all the world citizens by 2017.)
