I have been reading the Bible for over 30 years and this scripture that the Lord opened my eye's to just recently - caught me off guard to say the least. I have to confess, it was very shocking to see the GREAT love that G-d has for the Arabs, the sons of Ishmael. I found it interesting that the Lord calls Egypt "His People" and the Syrian's "The Work of His Hands" and the Jews "His inheritance". In other words, the day will come that all offenses and sin will be forgiven and forgotten and the Arabs and Jews will be as one to the Lord. Now that's what I call real and lasting peace. We should also remember, to get to this real and lasting peace, there will be much suffering and death in the process, however, once G-d has judged and all consequences for sin have been paid for, His peace plan will never again be at risk, it will last forever! The author and finisher of this real and lasting peace will be Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). I would like to point out that the Lord loves the Arab people and wants the best for them, Genesis 17:20; And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. Yes, there is a price they will have to pay for their hatred of Israel and the Jews and G-d will exact a heavy penalty from them all, but, we should never forget that Yeshua died for all people - no matter what their national or religious affiliations may be. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. All of G-d's people said together - Amen. When I read the whole chapter of Is. 19 my spirit jumps for joy at the warmth and love that G-d has for His people and those He wants to bring peace and harmony to - in and through Himself. He loves the Jew and Arabs alike and is zealous to see them live as one worshipping Him forever. Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ) will perform it and it just may happen in our lifetimes...
